Specialty Contact Lenses

We offer various types of contact lenses to accommodate patients with spherical, astigmatism, or multifocal refractive needs.

Scleral lenses are large diameter lenses custom designed to vault over the entire surface of the cornea and rests on the sclera “white part” of your eyes, allowing it to morph over an irregular cornea into a smooth surface to correct for residual refractive error. Additionally, the fluid reservoir that sits between the scleral lens and the cornea can provide relief for patients with severe ocular disease and may help the surface to heal. With proper fit, patient can achieve comfortable and clear vision with corneal conditions that may not be suitable for soft contact lenses.
