About Dr. Ann Chang

Dr. Chang is a long time New York resident, who has been a practicing optometrist caring for patients in New York City and the surrounding communities for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Science at Carnegie Mellon University and her Doctoral Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry.

She cares deeply for all of her patients and believes a thorough eye exam starts with listening. She understands her patients’ eye health can directly impact their overall quality of life, so her goal is to continue to care for all her patients with the highest standard of optometric care. At Clearvue Eye Care, we offer a full range of eye care services that include comprehensive eye exams, consultations for contact lens fittings, vision therapy and syntonic photo-light therapy for adults and children. Our practice offers medical eye treatments for issues including but not limited to dry eye, eye infections, allergies, floaters, cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma and emergency eye care.

Dr. Chang has been working closely with Dr. Joseph Shapiro, who is an expert behavioral optometrist in functional vision testing and vision therapy, to gain the knowledge his years of experience in identifying and treating complex vision problems. His holistic eye care approach to taking care of his patients align and compliment perfectly well with Dr. Chang’s. She is happy to merge the two practices and looking forward to providing the best eye care at Clearvue Eye Care to all her patients and will continue to dedicate improving her skills and practice daily.
